Maximize Article Response With The Right Resource Box
To get the most return for all the hard work you put in to writing an article, make sure your resource box is designed to get clicks.
For those of you that are new to article marketing, your resource box is where you get to tout yourself, your product and your website and it is displayed below your article.
Here are some tips for writing a good resource box:
- Put your name first. Let people know who you are right away. Doing so shows you have nothing to hide, starts to develop trust with your readers, furthers your brand, and establishes you as an expert in your field.
- Include a benefit. The reader needs to see something in it for them to act. If your article provides them with tips on how to buy a house with no money down, let them know that there are more tips waiting for them just by following your call to action.
- Have a clear call to action. Your call to action is what you want your reader to do next. It may be visiting your website, calling your toll free number, downloading a free white paper, or signing up for a newsletter.
- Keep it short. If it is too long people will just skip over it. 3 or 4 sentences is plenty of time to get your name, benefit, and call to action across.
Having the right resource box can make a huge difference in the response you get from your articles. Article marketing allows you to start a relationship with your customers and potential customers. If all relationships are give and take, then your article is your give and your resource box is your take. Give away your knowledge and expertise with your article content and take the opportunity to generate a lead or sale with your resource box.
